www.vintagepens.com was created and is maintained by David Nishimura. David's interest in vintage pens dates back to his New York City graduate student days in the mid-1980s. He is a former Director and Secretary of the Pen Collectors of America, and is a regular contributor to its journal, The PENnant. He is also a partner in American Art Plastics, manufacturing old-fashioned materials such as celluloid and ebonite for custom penmakers and other artisans. David has been involved with antiques and collecting since childhood.
